The challenge: Community First Credit Union is a major credit union in Northeast Florida, with 15 branch locations and assets worth over $2 billion. HDco was enlisted to revamp Community First Credit Union’s credit and debit cards, as the current design was outdated and unpopular with members.
How we solved it: We assembled a team that included a former CitiBank executive and a prominent interior designer and researched the competition to identify top-notch designs. The extensive design process resulted in dozens of designs that underwent focus group testing. The winning designs were produced in Chicago. The Director of Marketing requested that we write and redesign their business website, direct mail, and marketing brochure. As part of the project, HDco updated the logo design and created a 50-page brand manual to ensure consistency across the brand, including brand standards, voice, icon library, photography, advertising, direct mail, and outdoor.
The outcome: Since the rollout, Community First has grown its market share, opened new branches, and improved unaided brand awareness.
