First I laughed. Then I cried. …Now I want to physically maim the following people:
    • Marc Sylvester
    (Co-Owner/creator of The Logo Creator)

    • Lisa Mullennix
    (Co-Owner, Business Manager)

    • Dan Nelson
    (Programmer for The Logo Creator)

    Who’s with me?

AIGA should come up with an anti-medal for “most damaging to good design,” sorta like the Razzies.

There’s a disgruntled designer somewhere in the bunch here. Maybe he missed out on an awards competition or didn’t was rejected by the AIGA crowd. Instead of going postal, he/she is laughingbird all the way to the bank.

Truthfully, I think there is a place for stuff like this. Not everyone can cough up 5K for a logo. Clients looking for good design are not going to go for this kind of thing anyway.

Ture. I have seen many clients in my short career that come looking for good design after trying some sort of crap like this, and then discovering that it doesn’t work. They see the value of good design better after they try the bad stuff first.
